My stance on Nickleback is that they were tolerable at the beginning of their career, and this is probably the track that earns the least ire from me. So, overall my reaction to the video is:

This is one of their worst songs. 100% cookie-cutter made-for-radio music pumped out just for cash flow. It works, they’re very successful in that formula. I can’t sit there and actually get moved by their music. “Animal” is one their better songs. “Hero” (which technically isn’t Nickleback, but Chad Kroeger nonetheless) was made for Spiderman, but isn’t terrible to listen to either.
